I was looking for a new shoes being spoiled by perfect fitting On’s. These On’s unfortunately were not available anymore and the newer styles definitely had a tighter fit. I then first tried Adidas Terrex but was not convinced. I found those quite “bulky” and my heels slipped a bit. Then I found Danner 2650 trail but the first pair had a flaw in the left shoe mid sole, I sent them back and ordered another pair at another provider but the left shoe had the same flaw in the mid sole. It was painful to walk on these shoes. Now I ordered Mammut for the first time and they are spot on. Perfect fit, room for my toes, decent understated design. I am very happy with these.
