If you look at the density of fleece clothing there is a grade in terms of insulating properties. This specific one has 80 g/m² and therefore we see it as an added value to mention the insulating properties of this specific piece of clothing.
Thank you. When you mention the density you are focusing on the hybrid liner I understand. I still find it difficult to estimate the thickness of the fleece part of the vest. How do you estimate the insulation / warmth of this hybrid vest compared to a regular fleece vest such as the Karpos Vertice?
The only insulating property that the Karpos Vertice has is the polyester (fleece) in the vest. Therefore it is difficult to estimate the insulating properties in oppose to the Streams Hybrid. Both manufacturers do not give a density of the fleece itself, which makes an estimate even less reliable.
My estimate is that the Hybrid is warmer based on the fact that generally fleece vests such as the Karpos Vertice have a lot of elastic in it which results in a lower density of fleece. Keep in mind that this estimate is not only based on facts.
Hee Sven!

Hopefully this clears up the situation!
