The Wickiup 5 itself consists of a 30D ripstop 6.6 Nylon flysheet with silicone coating, a 15D breathable ripstop Nylon inner tent and a 40D ripstop Nylon floor with a TPU laminate. BACH specifies a 10,000 mm waterproof rating for the floor.

However, we want to be completely transparent: the publicly available information does not identify the exact chemical formulation of the TPU laminate or provide a detailed chemical composition of the flame-retardant treatment mentioned in some product specifications. For a family tent used with small children, we understand why you are asking for this level of detail. If the absence of specific flame retardants, PFAS/fluoropolymers or other substances is an essential purchasing criterion, we would recommend requesting a written chemical/material declaration directly from BACH. Based on the information currently published, we can confirm the PFC-free water-repellent treatment, but we cannot honestly confirm the precise chemical composition of every coating, adhesive, seam tape or flame-retardant treatment in the finished Wickiup 5.
