These however, are not the ultimate boots.
I've had these for almost 2 years, I have worn them regularely, but never let them dry out because of lac of fat.
I've cleaned them and just have cured them very wel, like you should do with every leather boot.
I don't see the reason why the seems come lose on my heel!! Thats a pretty crucial part of the boot.
This summer, I'm going to Canada for over a Month, I was planning to take these boots, but what if they fall apart??!
Aparantly this not only happened to me,
Tis boot is only a ''shell'', that's what it's made for, You insulate your self with socks. But it the seams fail, your shell falls apart, that means, the INTIRE shoe fails,
I'm imaganing myself walking with sock and some soles lashed on them, It's not a pretty sight!
Lundhags says to take care of your boots for a reasonable price, if it's your fault, and for a manufactioring fault THEY will take fully care for it. It means reparing it or replacing it by another boot.
I would like to see some of these promesis come true.
So I'm waiting for a solution..
I used them for of trail walking, and backpakking.
for this price range you buy 2 pair of schoes that wil take up to 6 years of ABUSE.
The system of the boot however is excellent.
The wear and tear abbility, is shavvy.
In the pictures my boots don't look clean, just returned from a trip.
But you still see the shine of the fat in the leather.
