Mountain Hardwear‘s Lightweight Daypack is so lightweight, compact, and supple that it stows inside its pocket when you aren‘t using it. Built with the basics, this daypack simply features highly durable Velocity nylon for abrasion- and tear-resistance, and lightly padded mesh shoulder straps for ventilated cush. Sure, this doesn‘t exactly give you the most comfy ride, but giving that this daypack only weighs nine ounces, you can probably see a lot of uses outside your urban commute. Take it on easy hikes, up short approaches to climbing walls, and especially on multipitches. Just clip it to your harness while climbing; it‘s better than having a bulky pack on your back with nothing in it.
The Lightweight Daypack also features a large zip-top opening so you can easily access your gear, and a capacity of 16 liters gives you enough room for hiking essentials, or a rack of draws or cams. The internal sleeve accommodates hydration bladders, guide books, and tablets, and Mountain Hardwear added a zippered front pocket for layers and two zippered side pockets for water bottles or other gear.
