The Women's Guide Polar Parka by Fjällräven gets its name from the fact that it was developed in collaboration with dogsled guides of the Fjällräven Polar Expedition. As a result it is a reliable companion, even in the most harshest, cold and stormy weather conditions.
Nylon with a waterproof membrane serves as a robust outer material and the coat has been reinforced with the waxed G-1000 material in the sleeves, shoulders and pockets. An absolutely storm-proof material which does not shy away from heavy snowfall and contact with rock and ice.
The applied Füllvlies Supreme Microloft is used in a very warm quality of 250 g/m². Consequently, you will be perfectly protected against frosty weather conditions.
Since this Parka features a loose cut which goes all the way to the thighs (thus, a thick fleece fits underneath as well), the waist is equipped with a practical drawstring. Even the soft, knit sleeve cuffs are really sophisticated and can be very well combined with gloves.
Moreover, the pockets as well as the zip can be used with gloves too. The same applies to the utilization of the drawstrings on the hood since they have been equipped with particularly large handles.
The tunnel-shaped, lined hood is adjustable in three dimensions and comes with a faux fur made of acrylic, which resists snow drifts.
Below the right breast the jacket features a D-ring that can be used to attach gloves or a thermos flask with the help of carabiners. Such carabiners might serve as securing on tours as well (not suitable for climbing!).
Let the snowy adventures begin with the Fjällräven Womens Polar Guide Parka!
